Portwest raise €5.4k for the Marie Keating Foundation

We were delighted to partner with the Marie Keating Foundations' Pink Patron Campaign to raise vital funds to support people and their families impacted by breast cancer. The partnership helps ensure the Marie Keating Foundation can continue to be there for those affected by a breast cancer diagnosis.

Throughout October, we donated €10 to the Marie Keating Foundation for every one of our Carla jackets sold throughout our four outdoor shops and our online store. All of you, our customers were the driving force behind this campaign, raising a grand total of €5,400.

‘We are delighted to be able to support the good work of the Marie Keating Foundation and their Pink Patron Campaign. We would like to thank all of our customers who got behind the campaign also, as without them, we wouldn’t have been able to do this.’ - Rachel Davoren, MD of Portwest Ireland

Tiernan Reilly (Corporate Partnership & Major Gifts Manager for the Marie Keating Foundation) visited The Outdoor Shop, Portwest's Flagship Store on Friday, 27th of January for the cheque presentation. Tiernan says,

The Marie Keating Foundation is so proud of our partnership with Portwest and their support for our Pink Parton’s campaign. Funds raised through the Pink Patron campaign will help the Marie Keating Foundation to continue to provide lifesaving information about breast cancer prevention, and support for those affected, in communities, schools and businesses throughout Ireland to ensure everyone has the information they need to detect breast cancer in its earliest stages and get the help they need before it’s too late. This would be not possible without the support of Portwest, the commitment of their staff and of course their fantastic customers’.

Together with the Marie Keating Foundation can't thank those who supported the campaign in October. .
