Due to its fast flash off and long open period, bonds may be made over a wide range of open times and the fast-cure time of approx. 1 to 2 hours is especially suitable for quick in-field repairs. After cure, Black Witch exhibits good flexibility and resistance against heat, weathering, ageing, moisture and UV light. – For further technical information please refer to the below Technical Data Sheet and SDS.
How to use
1.) Instructions for use with SABREX®
Use Black Witch as a cut-end sealant for SABREX®. Note:- SABREX® is also known as FLCC in some markets.
Black Witch should be applied to the exposed face of the bottom sheath beneath the explosive and liner. Apply with a brush or stick. It should be worked into the black foam material until the foam cells are filled and covered with a smooth shiny coating that is uniform and continuous from edge to edge. - Black Witch should be allowed to cure for approximately one to two (1-2) hours before SABREX immersion. - Once opened, the 28g tube of Black Witch should be consumed within 30 days.
Note: In trials a 28g tube has proved sufficient to coat more than ten (10) SABREX® exposed cut-ends.
For further information please refer to below Black Witch Technical Data Sheet Revision 3. Issued 25.02.2014 and Black Witch SDS Revision 4. Issued 22.02.2012 - If the user has any further questions relating to safety or hazards concerning SABREX, please refer to the contact details on the SABREX User Instruction (CEU-205-01195) or Product Safety Datasheet (CEU-205-01196)
2.) Instructions for Neoprene repairs etc.
Step 1: Apply Black Witch with a short, stiff brush. - Apply a thin even coat of adhesive to both surfaces.
Step 2: When surfaces become ‘touch dry’ (i.e. adhesive is glossy and no longer transfers to the knuckles) align the bond edges and bond under maximum pressure.
If possible continue to maintain the jointed surfaces under pressure until Black Witch is cured in approximately one to two hours. Fully test all repairs prior to product use. Note: The full technical cure period is approximately three days. In case of contact with hands wash using brush soap and water.

We hope that the following information will help you get the most out of your products. However this is only a general guide please refer to wash care advice given on individual products before washing or cleaning them.
To get the most out of your waterproof outerwear, you must keep it clean. The following is basic information on cleaning procedures. Always read any garment's care label before laundering.
Most waterproof outerwear can be machine washed and dried. Use powdered detergent or a specialist waterproof washing detergent and cold or warm water to wash these garments.
Maintain your product by cleaning regularly. Dirt and mud should be brushed off once it has dried naturally. Wipe with a clean damp cloth if necessary. Never wash in the washing machine. Immersion and exposure to detergents can attack the stitching and bonding agents within the product.
Dry slowly using natural air circulation at room temperature; do not subject the product to a direct heat source. Paper can be used to stuff the product in the drying process to help absorb moisture and maintain the shape of the product.
If you have purchased a waterproof product, the leather must regularly be treated with waterproofing and conditioning sprays or creams. Used in wet conditions the leather will experience a gradual loss of its water resistant qualities, and if untreated the leather will slowly harden and crack.
Occasional users should rinse with freshwater after each use and hang dry on a special wetsuit hanger, or a ladies padded hangar. Frequent users should rinse with fresh water and occasionally use a capful of wetsuit shampoo. Be sure to store your wetsuit properly. Dents and creases could become permanent and result in loss of insulation. The best way to store your wetsuit is to lay it flat, or hanging from a wetsuit hanger.
